Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
Perform end-to-end system validation, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing across distributed applications.
Develop and execute test scenarios for applications deployed on Kubernetes clusters, validating scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance under dynamic workloads
Implement and drive Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices and contribute to quality engineering culture.
Validate application behavior and performance in edge computing environments, ensuring reliability under constrained network, latency, and offline scenarios
Manage the defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, prioritization, tracking, and closure using standard tools.
Conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) of defects using logs [java, xml, json etc.], monitoring tools, and data analysis techniques to ensure effective resolution.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Validate APIs, databases, and system integrations, ensuring contract compliance and data integrity across services.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, testing best practices, and CI/CD processes, while continuously enhancing test coverage and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field with 4–6+ years of QA experience in enterprise environments.
Strong experience in manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
Hands-on experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or HP QC.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including defect triaging and root cause analysis.
Working knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java, Python, or similar) for test automation development.
Experience in retail domain applications, including POS systems and transaction flows (preferred but highly valued).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
