Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to support enterprise learning initiatives by configuring, maintaining, and optimizing an enterprise LMS platform. This individual will ensure accurate audience targeting, compliance with training requirements, and efficient execution of LMS operations while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable learning solutions and maintain a high-quality learner experience.
Partner with course owners and stakeholders to gather and validate audience requirements.
Create and maintain audience documentation, including approval documentation.
Build, configure, and quality-check learner audiences within the LMS.
Implement post-launch audience updates and maintenance.
LMS Administration
Process learning requests and LMS maintenance requests.
Configure and test eLearning courses.
Configure instructor-led and virtual training offerings.
Ensure accurate course setup, enrollment, assignments, and reporting.
Collaboration & Support
Collaborate with Learning Solutions Architects, Program Managers, Instructional Designers, HR data teams, and other business stakeholders.
Provide guidance on LMS capabilities, configuration, and best practices.
Participate in stakeholder consultations and support enterprise learning initiatives.
Documentation & Compliance
Complete LMS specifications and configuration documentation.
Maintain accurate records of configuration decisions and approvals.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory learning requirements.
Maintain high standards of data integrity and documentation accuracy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education.
5–10 years of experience administering enterprise Learning Management Systems.
Minimum 5 years of experience interpreting and applying HR data for audience targeting.
Minimum 5 years of experience with LMS administration.
Minimum 5 years of experience with SumTotal LMS.
Minimum 5 years of experience using ticketing systems and workflow management tools.
Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
Experience with enterprise audience scoping and LMS configuration.
Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Human Resources, or a related field.
Certification in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Human Performance Technology is an asset.
