We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead and facilitate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) using the SAFe framework. The RTE will coordinate multiple Agile teams, ensure alignment with business objectives, remove impediments, and drive successful delivery of large-scale initiatives. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with strong Agile, program management, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities · Facilitate PI (Program Increment) Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops. · Coordinate cross-functional Agile teams and manage dependencies. · Track program risks, issues, and impediments, ensuring timely resolution. · Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams on SAFe best practices. · Monitor ART performance using Agile metrics (velocity, predictability, burn-up/down, flow metrics). · Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, and Business Owners to align delivery with business goals. · Drive continuous improvement across teams and processes. · Prepare program status reports and communicate progress to leadership.
Required Skills · Strong knowledge of SAFe Agile and Agile methodologies. · Experience facilitating PI Planning and ART ceremonies. · Expertise in Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools. · Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. · Risk, dependency, and issue management experience. · Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. · SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification preferred. · 5+ years of Agile Project/Program Management experience. · Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), DevOps, and CI/CD is a plus.
