Position Title: Sr. Program Manager
Work Location: Maple Grove, MN 55311
Assignment Duration: 14 Months
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Onsite/ Hybrid
The program manager will be responsible for large scale regulatory program management, which spans many functional areas and aligns a process across the medical device businesses.
Develop, prioritize and submit project plans, budgets and methodologies across a range of key projects. Define project resources, milestones, and lead teams to execute goals. Take ownership of the successful implementation of a set of projects that collectively can comprise a program.
Located within the Global Regulatory Services team, the project manager will be responsible for large scale regulatory program management activities.
• Develop, prioritize and submit project plans, budgets and methodologies across a range of key projects.
• Define project resources, milestones, and lead teams to execute goals.
• Take ownership of the successful implementation of a set of projects that collectively can comprise a program.
• Support/motivate the local Program Managers to manage the total scope of the required changes necessary to bring their processes up to standards.
• Support/motivate the local Program Managers to manage the budget and timetable for the implementation of processes in conjunction with our organization corporate PMO team.
• Establish teams from all locations/businesses to share best practice and ensure consistency.
• Provide regular communications of project status to Division staff.
• Provide training and implementation planning support to all program participants.
• Plan to evaluate external consultants to optimize costs and benefits.
• Manage the execution of projects and programs in accordance with organization's program management methodology.
• Lead complex and/or critical programs, including Extended Producer Responsibility.
• Establish/Review/Own the program charter, determining key characteristics of the program and working with sponsors to get this charter approved.
• Monitor progress and performance of program against initial plan.
• Re-evaluate and steer program based on status and program targets.
• Select and manage relationships across businesses and project teams.
• Identify and resolve program problems and minimize delays.
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of individuals assigned to support the program to ensure milestones are completed on time, within budget and according to expectations.
• Leading the team towards developing a set of procedures to ensure sustainability of project results.
• Lead meetings, develop slides and present to senior leaders on program status.
• 3+ years experience.
• Manages/directs the activities and people associated with small to large scale projects with a focus on primarily non-IT business disciplines.
