Administrative - Logistics Project Manager
Contract : 12 Months
Location: CA - Sunnyvale or US -CA -Burlingame (depending on where candidate is located) (Must be able to commute to one of these)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Project Manager to support the Robotics organization. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchase order (PO) lifecycle, from PO issuance through final delivery, ensuring materials move efficiently, on time, and with complete visibility across stakeholders.

The Logistics Project Manager will act as the central point of coordination between Procurement, external vendors, and Logistics Operations, driving seamless material flow, resolving bottlenecks, and leading strategic logistics initiatives that support the Robotics program.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Purchase Order Management

• Own and manage purchase orders from creation through final delivery.
• Track shipment progress and ensure on-time delivery.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks or delays.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Serve as the primary liaison between Procurement, vendors, and Logistics Operations.
• Ensure smooth communication and handoffs throughout the PO lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain material availability.

Vendor Management

• Monitor vendor performance against delivery commitments.
• Identify supply issues early and drive timely resolution.
• Maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and logistics partners.

Process Improvement

• Analyze the PO-to-delivery workflow to identify operational inefficiencies.
• Implement process improvements that reduce cycle times and improve material movement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.

Strategic Logistics Projects

• Lead logistics initiatives supporting Robotics program priorities.
• Coordinate new supplier onboarding activities.
• Support warehouse optimization and transportation routing improvements.
• Help scale logistics operations for new product and program launches.

Reporting & Dashboard Management

• Maintain tracking dashboards for purchase orders and shipments.
• Provide stakeholders with regular updates on:
  • PO status
  • Delivery timelines
  • Project milestones
  • Potential risks

Risk Management

• Anticipate supply chain disruptions.
• Develop contingency plans to minimize delivery impacts.
• Escalate critical issues and drive cross-functional resolution.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
• Experience managing purchase orders and procurement workflows from PO creation through delivery.
• Experience working in hardware, robotics, manufacturing, or similar physical product environments.
• Knowledge of customs, import/export, and international shipping processes for hardware components.
• Experience coordinating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
