Job Title: Bus Syst Consultant IV (Lead) Duration: 12 Months Location: Remote Schedule: Mon-Fri: 40 hours a week (some flexibility with the time, so discuss with the manager) Summary:
We're looking for a Business Systems Consultant IV to serve as the lead consultant and primary Exterro expert for our Forensics & eDiscovery environment, helping drive platform support, operational maturity, cross-functional initiatives, and strategic improvements across Legal Systems.
This role will support Exterro, the platform used by Litigation and Legal teams for:
Legal Hold management
E-Discovery workflows
End-to-end litigation preparation and support
The platform is used across multiple groups, including:
Legal
Digital Forensics
Business stakeholders
IT partners
Technical & Functional Expertise The ideal candidate should be:
Technical enough to effectively partner with IT teams
Experienced as a System Administrator
Familiar with E-Discovery processes and workflows
Knowledgeable in Legal Hold and data collection processes
Comfortable supporting the full end-to-end litigation lifecycle
Preferred Background Hiring manager is open to candidates with experience as:
Business Analyst (BA)
Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
Legal Technology Consultant
Candidates should demonstrate:
Strong business acumen
Experience working between business and IT teams
Legal technology domain knowledge
Technical Skills & Resume Review Resumes should clearly show experience with:
Exterro (preferred)
Legal Hold management
Data collections
End-to-end E-Discovery support
Litigation support processes
System administration responsibilities
Candidates with relevant E-Discovery platform experience may also be considered, even if they do not have direct Exterro experience. About this Team’s Structure
Large Legal Technology organization
Approximately 8 team members support Corporate Legal
This position will work closely with a smaller Federal-focused team (approximately 2 members)

Degree/Certifications
Prefer a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or discipline.
Helpful but not required are: Exterro certifications, ACEDS certification, eDiscovery certifications, legal technology certifications, SaaS administration certifications, or comparable professional credentials.
Responsibilities The individual will:
Act as a liaison between Business and IT teams
Help define and implement best practices
Support product releases and enhancements
Manage and prioritize backlogs
Lead or support strategic initiatives
Serve in a consulting/advisory capacity for the business
Ideal Candidate Profile A candidate who:
Understands Exterro and the Legal Technology ecosystem
Has hands-on System Admin experience
Can translate business needs into technical solutions
Is comfortable influencing stakeholders across Business and IT
Has experience with E-Discovery, legal holds, and collections processes
Thrives in a consultative, initiative-driven environment.
