Job Title: R&D Technician I Assignment Duration: 6 months Location: 1 N Waukegan Road AP52, North Chicago, Illinois, 60064 Work Schedule: Mon-Fri (On-Site)
Responsibilities:
High output transfer of compounds with tracking
Documentation of all work in Microsoft Excel
Receiving and stocking of laboratory supplies
Disposal of laboratory waste products
Accounabilty / Scope:
Completes daily responsibilities as assigned by labhead
Adherence to EHS safety mandates
Qualifications:
AS or BS in scientific field (chemistry or biology preferred)
Attention to detail is critical
Ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task within an environment of shifting deadlines and demands
Familiarity with laboratory balances and practices
Able to work independently and within a team setting
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Working with potentially hazardous materials, PPE required
No previous industry experience is required
