Job Title: Quality Technician I
Shift: 1st Shift (Fully Onsite)7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Max Bill Rate: $27.38/hr
Duration: 7 months - Contract-to-Hire (Potential to Convert to FTE)

Summary

The Quality Technician I is responsible for supporting the business with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. This role provides inspection support and contributes to process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with the team to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra's quality assurance processes.
• Assist with conducting nonconforming materials investigations and report findings to Zebra's authorized vendors as appropriate.
• Engage management and team members as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues.
• Work with the team to support new product quality plan implementations.
• Understand technical requirements and deliver output following the learned technical framework.

Job Requirements

Preferred Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Work Experience:

• 0–3 years.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Ability to learn technical information.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Beginner-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Strong professional work behaviors, including attendance, teamwork, and time management.

• Worker will be required to comply with and operate in accordance with all applicable Zebra policies, as well as the safety guidelines, procedures, and requirements of the assigned warehouse location.
