Job Description:
Seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with Agentic AI expertise to design, develop, and enhance intelligent, scalable backend applications. This role requires strong hands-on experience in Java backend development, Agentic AI frameworks and solutions, and Kafka-based event-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building AI-enabled services, integrating autonomous AI agents into enterprise applications, and developing robust backend systems that support high-volume, real-time data processing. The candidate should be comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.
 
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development with Agentic AI experience (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
• Build and integrate Agentic AI solutions into enterprise applications and workflows.
• Develop and manage AI-driven agents capable of autonomous decision-making and task execution.
• Design and implement Kafka-based messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Create RESTful APIs and backend services to support AI and application integrations.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend and integration issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities following best practices.

 
Required Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development.
• Experience developing or integrating Agentic AI, AI agents, or Generative AI-powered solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven application development.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with backend system design, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI orchestration frameworks, or AI agent platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
