Job Description
Role: Data Engineer III
Location: Remote working in EST hours (8 to 5p or 9 to 6p)
Duration: 5+ months
Need a skilled engineer that have extensive experience with Databricks as well as Azure data factory. They must be able to unit test and have an understanding how to properly system test ensure that the process is capturing all files / transactions which need to be processed. They will be responsible for moving data from source systems to the Azure data lake for the business to use in reporting. The engineers will need to know how to work with Unity Catalog and also know how to leverage delta tables that are managed by data bricks.
Databricks Exp, Python/Spark programming, Azure Data Factory, Strong SQL Skills
Must haves:
1. Data Brick Exp--5 years
2. Azure Data Factory --5 years
3. Strong understanding of SQL--5 years
4. Good Verbal communication skills
5. Understanding of Agile process
6. Power BI modeling/development experience
