      • Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Own generating actionable insights through the development of metrics and dashboards.
2. Analyze relevant business information, and uncover trends and correlations to develop insights that can materially improve our product and strategy decisions.
3. Provide insights to our Canada business and Product Management teams as new initiatives are being identified, prioritized, implemented and deployed.
4. Develop clear communications for recommended actions.
5. Establish new, scalable, efficient, automated processes for tracking and reporting on progress of initiatives.
6. Work to accelerate Amazon Business machine learning efforts to scale globally.
7. Leverage GenAI tools (e.g., LLMs, AI-powered coding assistants, prompt engineering) to accelerate data analysis, automate reporting workflows, and enhance insight generation.
8. Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end BI solutions—including dashboards, self-service analytics tools, and automated reporting pipelines—to enable data-driven decision making across stakeholders.
      • Must-Have Requirements:
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools (e.g., Amazon Q, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-powered assistants) for code generation, data analysis, or workflow automation
- Demonstrated experience deploying BI solutions end-to-end, from requirements gathering through dashboard/report delivery and stakeholder adoption
 ? Core skills / technologies: Python, Sequel, Gen AI tools (Amazon Q, ChatGPT, GitHUb, Copilot), Tableau, Quicksight, Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL

      • Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience building and deploying GenAI-powered analytics solutions (e.g., natural language querying, automated insight generation, AI-driven anomaly detection)
- Track record of successfully deploying scalable BI solutions that drive measurable business impact and stakeholder self-service adoption
