Job Title: Engineer 2
Location: Westminster CA 92683
Duration: 23 monthsDay-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload: - Develop and execute test plans for AMI 2.0 meters and ancillary metering devices.
- Perform laboratory evaluations in coordination with a Laboratory Technician who will conduct specific tests.
- Ensure compliance with CPUC regulations, ANSI standards (specifically the C12 suite), and national electric codes.
- Apply laboratory testing methods and safe practices for complex evaluations and installations.
- Support installation and testing of single-phase and polyphase meters.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address technical issues and maintain quality standards throughout deployment.
Required Skills/Attributes: - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of CPUC regulatory requirements and ANSI C12 standards.
- Familiarity with national electric codes and laboratory safety protocols.
- Experience in creating and managing test plans for metering systems.
- Understanding of AMI systems and interoperability principles.
