Location: San Juan, PR (Remote) Annual Salary: $45,000 Assingment Duration: 6 months Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Generate and report monthly accounting activities for the company.
Support Senior Financial Analysts in the preparation of monthly financial statements submitted to Corporate.
Provide management with reliable and timely financial information in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and corporate financial guidelines (C.F.M.).
Preparing TCGM and other month-end closing reports.
Perform monthly balance sheet reviews by analyzing and reconciling balance sheet accounts and investigating or resolving variances.
Monitor daily cash movements and identify cash activity not processed through the Events Processing module.
Provide the Credit Department with information regarding incoming cash transfers.
Prepare and submit Area and Division financial reports within established deadlines.
Analyze Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Days on Hand (DOH) metrics monthly and publish results.
Perform monthly analysis of professional services withholding taxes (3% and 7%) and prepare the annual tax return.
Prepare quarterly D.22.0 and TCGM reports.
Provide accounting support to Commercial Divisions, including PPD, ADD, ADC, AN, AV, EPD, and Caribbean operations.
Ensure all journal entries are complete, properly documented, signed, and approved each month.
Enter monthly inventory receiving reports into the accounting system.
Prepare check requests for monthly payroll tax payments.
Maintain and update fixed asset records through monthly data entry.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Up to two (2) years of experience in the accounting cycle.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Strong written communication skills.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (advanced).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
