Job Title: Senior Program Manager
Duration: 12 months
Location: Mississauga, Canada (Hybrid – 3 days onsite a week)
Client is seeking a Technical Security Program Manager to lead the execution of high-impact, cross-enterprise security programs that drive measurable risk reduction and strengthen our security posture at scale. This role sits within a centralized Security Program Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across areas such as AI security, Zero Trust, vulnerability management, regulatory compliance, and secure development practices.
You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating enterprise security objectives into structured programs, aligning cross-functional partners, and ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, on scope, and aligned to business priorities.

This role sits within a centralized Security Program Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across areas such as AI security, Zero Trust, vulnerability management, regulatory compliance, and secure development practices.
You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating enterprise security objectives into structured programs, aligning cross-functional partners, and ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, on scope, and aligned to business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end program delivery for enterprise-wide security initiatives including AI security, Zero Trust, vulnerability management, regulatory compliance, and secure SDLC. Defining scope, structure, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics from initiation through delivery.
- Serve as program owner and integrator across cross-functional teams including Engineering, IT, Product, Legal, and Security, ensuring outcomes align to enterprise risk priorities and deliver measurable business value.
- Partner with Business Units to drive local execution of enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment across delivery teams while maintaining centralized governance.
- Apply structured risk management and escalation practices to identify, escalate, and mitigate program- and enterprise-level risks, ensuring timely resolution of blockers.
- Define and track program metrics, including OKRs and KPIs, to demonstrate progress, adoption, and measurable risk reduction.
- Lead governance and communication, including facilitating governance forums, working sessions, and executive updates; owning program dashboards, status reporting, and stakeholder communication tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
- Drive change management and adoption across Business Units, ensuring new security capabilities, tools, and processes are successfully embedded into day-to-day operations.
- Advance PMO maturity by supporting the evolution of PMO processes, tools, templates, and governance frameworks, and championing automation, standardization, and continuous improvement to scale program delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in program management, with a strong track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical security domain (e.g., network security, application security, identity & access management, cloud security, GRC).
- Proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder programs across engineering, IT, product, and business functions.
- Strong risk management, prioritization, and execution skills in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated experience aligning program outcomes to enterprise risk and business goals, including defining and tracking OKRs/KPIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Strong proficiency with program management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Power BI (or equivalent).
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or OWASP SAMM.
- Experience leading programs in areas such as AI security, Zero Trust, vulnerability management, or secure SDLC.
- Experience working in a centralized enterprise PMO supporting distributed business unit execution.
- Familiarity with security tooling ecosystems (e.g., SAST/SCA, vulnerability management platforms, GRC tools).
- Exposure to AI-enabled workflows, automation, or analytics-driven program management.
- Experience with Agile delivery models and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Background in transformation, operating model design, or portfolio management.
- Industry certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or Agile/SAFe certifications.
