Job Description
Seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Java-based enterprise applications, cloud-native microservices, and Generative AI technologies. This role requires a highly motivated engineering leader who can work independently, take ownership of complex initiatives, and drive the implementation of AI-powered developer productivity solutions across enterprise software delivery teams.
The ideal candidate will possess strong full-stack engineering capabilities, hands-on experience with modern GenAI tools such as Devin, Claude, and Cursor, and a proven ability to integrate AI-driven workflows into enterprise SDLC processes.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of assigned tasks from initiation through successful resolution.
  • Design, develop, and deploy GenAI-powered engineering solutions leveraging tools such as Devin, Claude Code, and Cursor.
  • Integrate Generative AI capabilities into enterprise software development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, internal engineering platforms, and developer productivity tools.
  • Collaborate closely with client's Lines of Business (LOB) teams to accelerate software delivery and enhance the end-to-end product lifecycle through AI-enabled solutions.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and adoption initiatives for GenAI tools and platforms across engineering teams.
  • Establish and promote best practices for prompt engineering, workflow optimization, and GenAI governance.
  • Monitor tool utilization, performance metrics, and productivity outcomes, recommending continuous improvements.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and scalability support for AI-enabled engineering workflows.
  • Drive engineering excellence through architecture reviews, technical leadership, and mentorship.
 Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 16+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise software development initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with evolving technologies and high adoption demands.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Java 17 with extensive experience developing Spring Boot-based microservices.
  • Strong full-stack development experience with: Java, React, Angular, TypeScript, Python
  • Experience designing and developing: Distributed systems, RESTful APIs, Event-driven architectures, Microservices-based applications
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and developer productivity tooling.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as: OpenShift (OCP), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Generative AI / LLM Expertise (Must Have)
  • Hands-On Experience With:Devin, Claude / Anthropic Models, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI-assisted developer tools
  • Strong Knowledge Of
  1. Prompt Engineering
  2. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  3. Agent-based workflows and tool utilization
  4. Multi-agent architectures
  5. MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and integrations
  6. Agentic services and autonomous AI workflows
  7. AI orchestration frameworks
  8. Tool chaining and decision-driven execution across enterprise systems
 Leadership & Soft Skills
  •  Strong collaboration and communication skills across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience working within regulated enterprise environments with governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Proven success driving organizational adoption of new technologies and engineering practices.
  • Passion for innovation, developer enablement, and measurable productivity improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving, mentoring, and technical leadership abilities.
