Role Scope / Deliverables:
- As an IT Business Analyst , you'll contribute to bridging business needs with technology solutions to advance our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
- You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, gather requirements, and implement innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency.
- Working in an agile environment, you'll help define and document business requirements, create user stories, facilitate and lead workshops, and ensure successful solutions delivery.
- This role offers opportunities to work with advanced technologies while making meaningful contributions to critical business initiatives.
- This role works closely with Manufacturing Operations, primarily within the Frederick, MD facilities, but also across various sites and with other IT teams as needed.
Key Skills:
- Key Responsibilities Partnering with Manufacturing Operations in creating business value through new product introductions, productivity, and process improvements
- Gather and analyze business requirements
- Facilitate communication between business and IT teams
- Create and maintain business and functional requirements
- Support User Acceptance Testing and End User Training
- Have a good understanding of our MES systems
- Manage stakeholder expectations
Education
- Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Agile methodologies and project management principles
- Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management/documentation tools
- Excellent requirements gathering and documentation capabilities
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for leading workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Experience creating user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Proficiency in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Preferred Fields of Study/ Qualification:
- Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
- Experience working with software development or configuration tools Life Science industry background is a strong plus
- Experience working in a GxP environment is a strong plus
