Key Responsibilities Sustainability Data & Reporting Leadership
Lead the collection, management, validation, and reporting of environmental and sustainability-related data, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy, water, waste, utility consumption, and other Responsible Business performance metrics.
Establish and maintain data quality standards, validation procedures, and governance processes that improve consistency, transparency, and completeness across global operations.
Coordinate with facility managers, operations teams, and global stakeholders to resolve data gaps and improve reporting quality.
Maintain reporting-ready datasets and supporting documentation required for disclosures, audits, assurance activities, and management reporting.
Lead management of facility environmental performance data to support operational performance monitoring, environmental objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Systems & Technology Ownership
Serve as business owner and administrator for Responsible Business reporting and data management platforms, including Workiva ESG, utility management systems, reporting databases, and other sustainability data solutions.
Lead system implementation, configuration, testing, governance, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish system administration standards, user access controls, documentation, and support processes.
Partner with IT, software providers, and business stakeholders to implement integrations, optimize workflows, and improve user adoption.
Evaluate emerging technologies and reporting solutions that improve efficiency, reporting quality, scalability, and user experience.
Analytics & Business Insights
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics supporting Responsible Business initiatives and operational performance management.
Deliver meaningful analytics and insights that support executive decision-making, environmental performance improvement, and business objectives.
Manage reporting datasets and business intelligence solutions used for facility performance, utility management, environmental metrics, and Responsible Business reporting activities.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting effectiveness through enhanced analytics, visualization, and performance measurement capabilities.
Support development and maintenance of rating agency, disclosure, and performance reporting dashboards.
Regulatory & Disclosure Support
Lead the data management processes supporting greenhouse gas accounting, climate disclosures, sustainability reporting, and evolving regulatory requirements.
Support preparation of Responsible Business disclosures, sustainability reports, customer information requests, and regulatory submissions.
Translate reporting and regulatory requirements into practical data collection, validation, and reporting processes.
Maintain supporting documentation and evidence required for transparency, traceability, audit readiness, and external assurance activities.
Support reporting obligations associated with environmental and climate-related regulations globally.
Data Governance, Controls & Assurance
Develop and maintain data governance standards, reporting methodologies, process documentation, and internal control frameworks.
Establish procedures that strengthen accountability, consistency, transparency, and reliability across reporting programs.
Support internal audit, external assurance, and compliance reviews by providing required data, analyses, evidence, and documentation.
Drive continuous improvement in data governance, control effectiveness, and reporting processes.
Ensure reporting systems and datasets remain audit-ready and aligned with corporate governance expectations.
Continuous Improvement & Digital Innovation
Lead initiatives to streamline reporting processes through standardization, automation, systems integration, and workflow optimization.
Evaluate and implement technology-enabled solutions that improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
Support development of innovative tools and digital solutions that reduce manual effort and improve access to information.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement across Responsible Business reporting processes and systems.
External Reporting & Stakeholder Support
Support data requirements for sustainability ratings, customer questionnaires, investor disclosures, and other external stakeholder requests.
Ensure supporting evidence, documentation, and datasets are accurate, defensible, and readily available.
Collaborate with Responsible Business subject matter experts to support external reporting and stakeholder engagement activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Operations, Facilities, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and external consultants to support Responsible Business objectives.
Coordinate global data collection and reporting activities across business functions and regions.
Provide guidance, training, and support to data owners, system users, and reporting stakeholders.
Build strong stakeholder relationships that improve data quality, reporting consistency, and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5-8+ years of experience in enterprise data management, reporting systems, business intelligence, analytics, enterprise applications, or related disciplines.
Experience administering enterprise reporting or data management platforms.
Experience with Power BI, reporting tools, dashboards, analytics, or business intelligence solutions.
Experience implementing data governance, data quality, reporting controls, or business process frameworks.
Experience supporting audit, assurance, compliance, regulatory, or reporting programs.
Demonstrated success leading system implementations, reporting transformations, analytics initiatives, or process improvement projects.
Knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting, sustainability disclosures, environmental metrics, or climate-related reporting.
Experience with Workiva, AuditBoard, Smartsheet, Power BI, or comparable enterprise reporting platforms.
Experience managing environmental, utility, emissions, operational performance, or regulatory datasets.
Interest in sustainability, environmental performance, and Responsible Business strategy.
