Job Title: Project/Program Manager I
Location: Austin, TX - Onsite
Duration: 6 months


Summary:
Responsible for the coordination of the WFM E-Commerce Q4 Holiday program. Oversees all aspects of Q4 holiday readiness — from pre-season planning through peak execution. Coordinates deadlines, responsibilities, and monitors progress against key milestones. Prepares status reports for leadership regarding program key actions and risk areas.
 
Top 3 Must Have Hard Skills:
  • 2-4 years experience project management
 
Degree/ Certification Requirements: Bachelors degree preferred
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Holiday Planning & Execution: Own the end-to-end project plan for Q4 holiday readiness, including timeline development, milestone tracking, and deliverable management.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with cross-functional teams and key business partners to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Progress Tracking: Lead recurring milestone check-in meetings to assess progress, identify blockers, and drive accountability across workstreams.
  • Peak Season Management: Once Q4 holiday season begins, manage daily standups and follow up directly with business partners to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Reporting: Summarize program status, risks, and escalations for upper management on a regular cadence.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of project/program management experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or operations.
  • Familiar with a variety of project management concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to run effective meetings, follow up with partners, and escalate appropriately.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
