Title: Technology Specialist- Business Systems Analyst
Duration : 3 years 5 months
Location: Hybrid - Detroit, MI
Job Description:
We are seeking a Tech Analyst to support both an internally developed application and a vendor-hosted SaaS platform (5-8 years exp). This role will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze defects, gather requirements, support enhancements, validate business processes, and coordinate testing and release activities.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across business and technical teams and must be able to query both Oracle and SQL Server databases to support investigation and analysis. Experience with JIRA and Tricentis qTest is required. Any previous experience supporting finance applications, specifically securitization related activities, is a plus.
Responsibilities
• Gather and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Support bug remediation and enhancement delivery
• Query Oracle and SQL Server databases for analysis, validation, and issue investigation
• Create and manage stories, defects, and tasks in JIRA
• Support testing coordination and traceability in qTest
• Partner with QA, developers, SaaS admins, and business teams on UAT and release readiness
• Help translate business needs into actionable requirements and acceptance criteria
Support governance, documentation, and release-related activities
Qualifications:
• Experience in business analysis or systems analysis
• Strong SQL skills and comfort querying Oracle and SQL Server
• Experience with JIRA and Tricentis qTest
• Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, production issues, and enhancement delivery
