Title: Project Manager III (Gas Facility & Pipeline Projects)
Location: Edmonton, AB or Calgary AB (Hybrid model (Mon, Tues, Thurs in office / Weds, Fri at home)
Duration: 12 Months

Description:
In this role, you will lead project management activities for capital projects which include gas compression facilities and pipeline infrastructure.

What You Will Do:

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project delivery—feasibility, planning, development, execution, and close-out.

• Accountable for the overall safety, cost, schedule, and quality results of the scope assigned.

• Manage, monitor, and influence progress to meet deliverable expectations through coordination of resources in a matrix service delivery model where individuals report only indirectly.

• Review schedules, cost reports, and work to ensure completion to meet the needs of the associated interdependent requirements from the balance of the Program.

• Ensure project scope aligns with all regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements through effective management and coordination of internal functional group resources.

• Maintain our path to zero safety target by ensuring safety in design and selecting contractors with safety values that align with Client.
   

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma or certification from a recognized university or college.

• Professional Engineering designation and / or Project Management certification (PMI) is an asset.

• 6 years of related experience in one or more of the following areas: pipeline, gas compression, with proven experience in project management. Note without a degree, you will require 9 years.

• High degree of knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions in the design and operations of facilities, and pipelines.

• Proven understanding of all pipeline facility aspects; mechanical, civil, electrical & instrumentation, automation & controls and knowledge and experience in gas pipeline construction or operations and maintenance is required.

• Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

Working Conditions:

• Office environment.

• Occasional travel (10-20%) field visits required. Scheduled travel to company offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities during construction periods or as necessary to meet needs.
