Job Title: Care for the Caregiver Project Manager
Duration; 3 months
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90032 Hybrid, on site 1-2 per, local candidates preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing presentations and executive-level reports.
  • Experience collaborating with vendors.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with project management software/tools
  • Experience developing metrics/KPIs and presenting project updates to leadership.

The Project Manager will assist with program development, establish and track goals, develop metrics to measure success, and support executive reporting.
This role provides a broad range of project management and operational support, contributing to the administration, coordination, and execution of key departmental initiatives. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, organizing, research, and service delivery, while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager leads and coordinates cross-functional teams, manages resources, and ensures alignment with organizational goals.
The position oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. The Project Manager will proactively identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain clear, consistent communication with stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 
Project Management
 • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals.
 • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
 • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
 • Monitor project progress, performance, and risks; adjust plans and mitigation strategies as needed.
 • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
 • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders on a regular basis.
 • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and best practices.
 • Facilitate problem-solving, decision-making, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
 • Oversee project closeout activities, including documentation, evaluation, and lessons learned.
 • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation for audits and future reference.
 • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
 • Manage procurement of resources and third-party vendors, as needed.
 • Support vendor coordination and contract negotiations, as appropriate.
 
Communication & Collaboration
 • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including staff, faculty, clinicians, patients, and visitors.
 • Prepare and deliver presentations on project proposals, plans, and status updates in both formal and informal settings.
 • Facilitate meetings, reporting sessions, and group discussions to support project execution.
 • Provide guidance, support, and motivation to project team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
 • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in navigating changing priorities, tasks, and processes.
 • Seek, receive, and apply performance feedback; provide constructive and actionable feedback to peers and leaders.
 
Budget & Resource Management
 • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control, accurate documentation, and financial compliance.
 • Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations to optimize operational efficiency.
 • Review project invoices and financial documentation for accuracy and alignment with project scope.
 • Assist in the development of the department’s annual budget, as needed.
 
Operational & Program Support
 • Provide operational support across all Care for the Caregiver programs, as needed.
 • Support general department operations, workflows, and strategic initiatives.
