Job Description

Role Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Duration: 6 months
Working hours: 9am-5pm EST preferred, but flexibility if located in other time zones
Office location: fully remote
 
Role Mandate:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator contributes to company success as a key member of the Talent Acquisition team by ensuring a smooth, accurate, and timely transition from offer stage through to their first day. As part of the Post-Offer team, this role manages key activities such requisition assignments, offer letter generation, and background screening, helping to reduce delays and create a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. The position requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 
Team Structure:
Direct team of 7, with a broader team of 17. The work will be mostly independent, but there is a high degree of collaboration (especially during training) and team members are encouraged to reach out to each other when encountering issues.
 
Role Responsibilities:
  • Supporting requisition assignments, offer letter generation, and monitoring background screening clearance.
  • Manage communications with internal and external partners to support the execution of program deliverables (e.g. Offer letter process; background screening, candidate or hiring manager follow-ups).
  • Ensuring all requisitions are assigned (in Workday) within defined SLAs.
  • Manage the candidate and hiring manager experience (in Workday) throughout the post-offer process.
  • Execute on the end-to-end process of the offer letter and ensure all required reviews are completed and information is captured.
  • Investigate, resolve and follow-up regarding any Workday issues or errors related to offer letter or pre-employment screening process.
  • Support the team with special projects as needed.
 
Must Have Skills:
  • Typically, 1-3 years of relevant experience – less experience necessary if the candidate has a relevant postsecondary degree
  • Computer skills with Excel, Outlook, Microsoft 365 tools – intermediate
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time, escalating when necessary
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth.
  • Influence skills - In-depth.

  • Previous experience & demonstrated results in recruiting or sourcing
