Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Location: Remote Duration: 6 months
Job Description: Role Overview Client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support data-driven initiatives across healthcare systems. This role will bridge business needs and technical solutions, with a strong focus on data analysis, requirement gathering, and SQL-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for data-centric applications and systems
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Perform complex data analysis using SQL to validate requirements, identify trends, and support decision-making
Work closely with engineering and data teams to design and deliver scalable solutions
Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and root cause analysis for system and data issues
Support data mapping, data validation, and data quality checks
Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure business requirements are met
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
Strong experience in data-centric environments (healthcare preferred)
Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, or analytics platforms
Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Tableau, or Power BI
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data standards
