Pure Storage is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to fill a unique role, on an amazing team, for a world class company. This person will be a pivotal player on the Pure Performance, Education and Knowledge (PEAK) team, which is tasked with designing, developing, and managing technical training curriculum. This person’s responsibilities include collaborating with learning consultants, subject-matter experts, and instructional designers in a fast-paced environment to define and curate solutions impacting customers, employees, and partners. As an example, the solutions this person will help create vary. It could be as simple as the development of an icon, or the re-typesetting of PowerPoint content to meet branding guidelines, to something much more complex like the creation of an animated video, or the layout of a webpage on our intranet. This role will use various graphic, video and instructional design tools at its disposal to create new learning content, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Articulate 360, Articulate Rise, Vyond, Camtasia.

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive knowledge and understanding of various graphic design styles and techniques. You should also have experience in developing a project/campaign from beginning to end, and the capacity to work on multiple projects at once in a changing, fast-paced environment. This individual contributor role is a critical member of an extensive team that strives to define and promote the vision of the department through high-quality digital content.

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage content, illustrations, and infographics
• Strong emphasis and experience with short video design and development
• Managing graphic design from concept through production design
• Understanding of importance of brand consistency and ability to provide direction to broader team
• Liaising between stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
• Keeping up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Portfolio with design projects, and strong proven work experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong emphasis on video
• Expert presentation design skills including Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
• Working experience with image design tools (e.g. Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator).
• A keen eye for detail
• Understand use of lightboard to record video is a plus
• Aesthetic skills
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members
