Job Description:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with third-parties and/or internal customers on small-scale programs to assess resources, track progress, communicate program status updates, and ensure compliance with processes and guidelines.
- Prepares agendas for review board meetings under close guidance of the Program Manager and documents discussion points, project plan changes, and stakeholder needs.
- Contributes to and updates project plans to support Program Managers or Leads on small programs under supervision that include priorities, timelines, critical tasks, stakeholder identification for each task, and forecasted resource allocation.
- Collects and reports basic budget data.
- Tracks the progress and execution of routine deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
- Communicates, coordinates, and escalates changes in project timelines, priorities, and deliverables to stakeholders.
- Collects and delivers data and program metrics using basic tools (e.g., macros, pivot tables, charts, graphs).
- Delivers data and simple reports to Program Manager.
- Uses appropriate planning processes, tools, and methods, and provides feedback to the Program Manager.
Level of Responsibility:
- Working under close supervision.
- Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions with limited impact; impact of decisions is readily apparent; errors made typically only impact timeline (i.e., require additional time to correct).
- Using verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.
- Completing most tasks with multiple steps which must be performed in a specific order; directions or manuals can accurately document the steps necessary to perform the task.
- Exercising some creativity to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances.
- Limited problem solving required, generally in the nature of troubleshooting simple processes or technology.
The responsibilities of this role do not include:
- Providing supervision/guidance to others.

Nice To Have:

Required Years of Experience & Education:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of prior experience

Additional Intake Notes:
- In this role, you plan and manage project assignments including processes, procedures, and tools designed to increase engineering's productivity and accountability. The primary focus is to design, create and maintain Multimedia SharePoint and Wiki pages. Create dashboards on SharePoint to track and monitor project plans
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to put together reports/presentations that are clear and concise.
- Operational Expenditures (OpEx)
- Track and summarize monthly changes to overall budget, highlight any areas of concern and address with finance team
- Create budget walks and present to upper management, tracks changes to the budget over the fiscal year
- Capital Expenditures (CapEx)
- Assist engineering leads with financial content for engineering investment council (EIC) presentations, adjust technical content for the finance audience
- Facilitate purchases with the procurement team and ensure the accuracy of purchase orders
- Project Cost Planning
- Monitor submitted spends versus actual spends via headcount and hardware non-recoverable expenses (HW NRE)
- Headcount
- Communicate department-level headcount plan to finance, and drive labor budget outlook for the PTE organization
- Oversee submission of project level headcount plan to TM1, ensure project level submissions match department level submission
- Manage changes to consultant budget line, and collaborate with global finance analysts (FAs) to ensure accuracy
- HW NRE
- Monitor HW NRE submission and costs incurred by project
- Collaborate with hardware/procurement team for standardized cost list
- Product Cost Planning
- Monitor cost of test (COT), develop standardized tracking methodology
- Monitor variance per quarter, create and present quarterly report to PTE leads
- Algin with external teams and business units on cost model structures
- Communication
- Monitor and recommend initiatives to drive cost savings and how to estimate those values
- Create executive presentations to showcase this value to finance team audience
