Job Title: Software Developer III - Java Duration: 24 months (Possibility of extension/conversion based on business needs) Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days a week onsite)

Required Education: Bachelors Degree within Computer Science, Engineering etc. is an asset Years of Overall Experience: 5+ years of experience Preferred Candidate Background: Banking or financial institution experience
Must-Have Hard Skills:
5+ years of experience within Spring Boot and API development
Experience setting up Data base’s from the ground up for new API’s
Migration from node to Spring Boot
Azure migration experience
Understanding of how API’s connect to Mainframe
Prior banking experience (big 5 banks)
Soft Skills:
Very strong and clear communication (written and verbal)
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong facilitation skills
Self-motivated, well organized, able to work both independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and someone who is a self-starter and adaptable
Nice-To-Have
Azure fundamentals or Java certifications
Experience migrating from node to spring boot
Prior Client experience
