Job Description:

1.Primary responsibility for product marketing content development and execution of go-to-market product marketing programs and initiatives.
2. Partner with product management, business development, sales, and competitive analysis team to develop proof points/facts/benchmark plan that supports the product and messaging key product initiatives and arms customer-facing teams with compelling, targeted marketing material.
3. Developing product messaging platform, use cases, white papers and other content that articulates our technology value proposition, product and competitive positioning statements;
4. Develop marketing plans including maintaining project calendars, identifying when/where/how key product and technology messages are rolled out throughout the year based on road map/key device launches; working directly with PR/editorial/social media content calendars to drive message synergy and working with product management, channel and sales teams as required;
5. Development and leadership of targeted marketing content and initiatives including, contracting and managing appropriate agencies, managing budgets, driving engagement with product management, business development, and sales, coordination with leadership and providing guidance to staff and agencies supporting the program.
Technologies:
Required Education & Required Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 10+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Leverages advanced knowledge of Marketing principles, best practices, and applicable market research to manage and drive projects and programs that deliver a return-on-investment.
• Collaborates with senior management to resolve administrative or operational matters and ensures effective achievement of project and program objectives.
• Delegates tasks and supervises team members and lower-level managers by meeting regularly with each team member to discuss business dynamic, develops plans to accelerate performance, and predicts future outlooks.
• Leads cross-functional teams and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on all matters concerned with designated projects.
• Acquires advanced knowledge on marketing strategy, marketing program guidance, and sales by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and expanding personal networks within and outside the organization.
• Writes, rewrites and/or edits marketing/sales campaigns and programs, business results, and trends with minimal supervision.
Level of Responsibility:
• Working independently with minimal supervision.
• Providing supervision to direct or indirect reports.
• Making decisions that are significant in nature and affect work beyond immediate work group.
• Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
• Working within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
• Exercising a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
• Completing tasks that require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

- This role requires a technical understanding of the mobile compute space including various operating systems, familiarity with OEM hardware brands and software differentiators, security, and the ability to apply Snapdragon platform advantages vs. competitors.
- It also requires the ability to translate that technical understanding into the development of messaging, marketing content, creative assets, and campaign plans that resonate, drive awareness and build long-term targeted marketing programs with target audiences.
