Position Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Work Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)
Assignment Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension)
Work Arrangement: Onsite

In The Organization's Diagnostics division and within the R&D group, the Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) plays a critical role in the V&V (Verification and Validation) team. This position ensures that The Organization's groundbreaking medical products meet industry standards and specifications, enabling safe and accurate patient diagnosis and thereby significantly impacting patients’ lives!
Background & Context: The role sits in The Organization's Diagnostics division within the R&D group, focused on Verification and Validation for medical diagnostic products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Automation Software integral for comprehensive testing of medical device systems.
• Define and execute projects independently, deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems
• Software requirements and specification definition
• Software design and development
• Enhance existing code through refactoring
• Root cause analysis and defect resolution
Qualification & Experience:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2-6 years of experience related to systems engineering and/or software development in testing
• Technologies: C#, WPF, C++, SQL, and HTML
• Windows .NET as a development environment
• Knowledge of multithreaded UI development required
