Position Overview
- At Client, we do what no other company on the planet can: provide our customers the technology to Make Anything. We are on a journey of significant enterprise growth and transformation. To maintain and accelerate our trajectory, we need exceptional transformation leaders who can help drive key organizational initiatives across our go-to-market organization.
- We are seeking an experienced Sr. Principal Program Manager to join the Client’s Go-to-Market Program Management Office (GTM PMO) on a contract, with the potential for extension. This role is critical to helping the client achieve growth and cross-functional alignment across highly visible, strategically important initiatives. You will serve as the integration layer across complex, ongoing programs, partnering with senior leaders to understand business objectives, align stakeholders, establish governance and operating cadence, and drive execution toward measurable business outcomes.
- This role requires both a strong program management foundation and a consulting mindset. You will quickly assess current-state challenges, diagnose and structure ambiguous problems, identify risks and dependencies, and help teams converge on a common path forward. Success requires the ability to navigate highly interdependent workstreams, influence senior stakeholders without direct authority, and maintain momentum against aggressive timelines.
- Working closely with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, and Technology, you will bring clarity, accountability, and execution rigor to strategic initiatives while helping the organization navigate change and deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Drive transformation program strategy and cross-functional execution end-to-end, partnering across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, and Technology to deliver key organizational initiatives and business outcomes
- Quickly assess existing programs, stakeholder landscapes, governance structures, and execution challenges to establish clarity, alignment, and momentum
- Understand business drivers, customer segments, and organizational priorities and translate them into structured program approaches that deliver growth, productivity, efficiency, and measurable business results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business analysis, enablement, technical delivery, and change management—to define program scope, objectives, success metrics, and deliverables
- Establish and maintain integrated program plans, governance structures, operating cadences, milestone tracking, risk management processes, dependency management frameworks, and executive reporting mechanisms that create clarity, accountability, and momentum
- Own cross-program integration and visibility, proactively identifying and managing interdependencies across workstreams, diagnosing where initiatives are stalled, and driving resolution of blockers
- Partner with senior leaders to translate strategic priorities into executable roadmaps, frame key decisions, surface tradeoffs, and facilitate timely, informed decision-making
- Facilitate decision-making by establishing clear decision rights and escalation paths and synthesizing complex information into executive-ready recommendations with clear options and implications
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and executives to ensure alignment, visibility, and support for transformation objectives through strategic insights, structured problem-solving, and demonstrated value-add
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, escalating issues with thoughtful mitigation plans and actionable recommendations
- Drive accountability across diverse stakeholder groups while fostering collaboration and maintaining focus on critical milestones and outcomes
- Develop and refine standards, methodologies, tools, and best practices that strengthen transformation execution and organizational effectiveness
- Coach and mentor program managers supporting key initiatives, helping build program management capabilities and ensuring consistent application of PMO standards and best practices
- Drive continuous improvement in program management processes, governance approaches, and operating models that accelerate future transformation efforts
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic program management, transformation leadership, strategy & operations, PMO leadership, or go-to-market transformation roles
- Significant experience leading enterprise-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives and driving measurable business outcomes
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs from strategy through execution across multiple business domains
- Demonstrated ability to quickly embed into large, in-flight initiatives and establish structure, alignment, and momentum
- Strong ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across senior stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional teams
- Experience establishing governance models, operating cadences, executive reporting, and decision-making frameworks
- Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with VP and executive-level leaders
- Strong ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and balance strategic thinking with detailed execution
The Ideal Candidate
- Deep experience leading mission-critical strategic initiatives and transformations at scale
- Operates effectively as both a strategic consultant and hands-on program leader
- Brings the judgment to balance rigorous program management practices with the flexibility needed to navigate ambiguity and evolving business priorities
- Low ego, high impact orientation; energized by solving complex problems and bringing diverse stakeholders together around shared outcomes
- Can rapidly assess unfamiliar situations, identify root causes, and structure ambiguous problems into actionable frameworks without needing to be the subject matter expert
- Asks incisive questions that surface hidden assumptions, clarify priorities, and accelerate decision-making
- Sees programs and transformations as interconnected systems, connecting dots across workstreams and anticipating downstream impacts
- Creates clarity, accountability, and alignment in environments characterized by complexity, urgency, strong stakeholder opinions, and competing priorities
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complexity into concise recommendations, presentations, and decision-ready materials
- Drives toward outcomes with urgency, adapts quickly to changing conditions, and maintains momentum across multiple critical initiatives
