Job Title: Network Engineer V (Connectivity Engineer)
Location: New Albany, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Schedule: This role operates on 4-day work weeks with 12-hour shifts. There are 4 positions available across two schedules: Monday through Thursday and Friday through Monday, each with a day shift and a night shift.

Client is seeking a Connectivity Engineer to join the Design Engineering and Construction (DEC) team. This role is pivotal in supporting the physical infrastructure of client's global data centers, ensuring seamless connectivity for the delivery of client's innovative services. The Connectivity Engineer will manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to production turnover, ensuring projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Must-Have Skills:
- Hyperscale data center connectivity experience (physical infrastructure — rack/patch/stack, link audits, network provisioning/turnup)
- ISP and networking background
- Vendor management
- Google, AWS, or similar hyperscale industry experience
- Prior Meta experience
- OSP (Outside Plant) experience

- Project Planning & Control: Develop and maintain project scope, schedules, and milestones. Collaborate with site construction management teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Learnings & Best Practices: ? Review ongoing projects for efficiencies and document data points to assist with field coordination
- Lease Connectivity Engineer Summary: Client is seeking a Connectivity Engineer to join the Design Engineering and Construction (DEC) team. This role is pivotal in supporting the physical infrastructure of client's global data centers, ensuring seamless connectivity for the delivery of client's innovative services. The Connectivity Engineer will manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to production turnover, ensuring projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Support the development of project management best practices and coordinate SOPs/SIPs with vendors
- Forecasting & Budgeting: ? Assist the project controls team with forecasting and budget efforts ? Ensure clear communication of project status with all stakeholders
- Core Connectivity Scope (from the Lease Playbook): ? Manage landlord's OSP Infrastructure, install to design, and dates inserted into lease agreement ? Responsible for ensuring rack/patch/stack of the network build is completed to standard ? Troubleshooting of network turnup during provisioning ? Coordination of ENS/RSE for provisioning ? Conduct Client QA/QC of Connectivity scope ? Oversee vendor site-level implementation of Safety Program ? Validate designs, artifacts, and deliverables ? Support Change Orders Requests and RFI Responses
- Experience with Meta or hyperscale data center construction environments
- Familiarity with design-build project delivery and constructability reviews
- Strong documentation skills (SOPs, SIPs, RFI process management)
- Scheduling & risk mitigation expertise — ability to forecast and de-risk project timelines
- Self-driven with the ability to make independent decisions in the field without constant oversight
