Job Title: Technical Program Manager IV
Duration: 12 months
Location:  Remote
Job Summary:
  • The Technical Program Manager will lead the product development team in executing projects aligned with a specified roadmap. Providing critical support for two teams operating under a scrum framework, this role ensures project success through diligent planning and coordination.
Note:
  • A background in marketing analytics is preferred, but candidates without this experience will be considered to ensure a timely search.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proactivity and ownership with abstract situations
  • Proven experience leading projects
  • Has experience in: Marketing, Analytics, Scrum
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Big tech company experience
  • Comfort with GSD & Jira as the CW will be working with data engineers/scientists
  • Independence
Degrees/Certifications Potential certifications:
  • Agile, Scrum alliance, PMI/ACP, but don’t need full PMP
Daily Responsibilities & Core Activities:
  • Project Planning & Operations: Oversee daily planning and management tasks, including team standups, project tooling maintenance, and meeting facilitation.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Organize and lead program meetings and follow-ups involving engineers, product managers, decision scientists, business analysts, and business engineers.
  • Roadmap Execution: Partner with teams to develop and execute tactical plans that support key project objectives and roadmap deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, and resolve project blockers and risks to ensure continuous progress.
Team & Project Context:
  • This position is part of the Media Sufficiency Team, focusing on Marketing Performance Reporting and Marketing Workflow Application Development. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Management, and Decision Science across diverse geographical regions.
  • Key objectives include delivering centralized reporting to improve brand sentiment across client. Family of Apps (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Reality Labs) and driving conversions for performance marketing brands like Business Messaging and Advertising.
Success Criteria & Performance Measurement:
  • Tool Management (GSD): Ensure all projects in GSD are current, tasks are broken out, and dependencies are tracked according to team practices.
  • Roadmap Accuracy: Review roadmaps monthly to ensure projects are correctly prioritized and executive-level visuals are maintained.
  • Sprint & Meeting Effectiveness: Manage agendas, notes, action items, and sprint ceremonies (grooming, reviews, and retrospectives).
  • Delivery Excellence: Resolve delivery risks to ensure timelines are met and transparently communicated to stakeholders.
Minimum Years of Experience:
  • 8-10
Key Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Manage day to day projects planning and management activities through team standups, project management tooling, project meetings, and eliminate/mitigate risks and blockers. Initiate, schedule and conduct program & project meetings and follow-ups with engineers, decision science, business engineers, business analysts, and product managers.
  • GSD projects kept up to date (Create all current projects, ensure all info is complete, updated after stand-ups, projects have tasks broken out, dependencies are logged)
  • Roadmaps are maintained (Roadmaps reviewed monthly, Projects are in roadmap/removed/reprioritized if needed, Exec level visuals maintained)
  • Weekly team meetings and sprint management (Ensure agendas submitted, capture notes, capture action items, create/update sprints, Facilitate retros)
  • Projects delivered successfully (Ensure team is working on correct priorities, Resolving/mitigating roadblocks/project delivery risks, timelines maintained/transparently communicated)

  • Marketing Technology (MarTech) workstream, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing Technology
