Position Summary:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for the design, construction, and commissioning of a large-scale animal vaccine manufacturing facility.
- Manage capital project budget, schedule, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget execution.
Background & Context:
- This role supports The Organization's major capital investment to design, build, and commission a large-scale animal vaccine manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for the design, construction, and commissioning of a large-scale animal vaccine manufacturing facility
- Manage capital project budget, schedule, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget execution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, quality, validation, and regulatory affairs
- Serve as primary interface with architects, EPC firms, contractors, and equipment suppliers
- Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks
Qualification & Experience:
- Proven understanding of the capital project lifecycle and FEL process.
- Proven ability to influence decision making with executive level stakeholders.
- Proven exceptional social and diplomacy skills
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team across a multi-departmental project with direct and indirect management of functional resources
- Excellent communication and organization skills, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Documented success with leading capital projects in excess of (USD)100MM.
- Proven ability to operate under high-pressure in a timeline constrained environment.
Skills:
- Experience managing large capital projects, including new buildings or building expansions, preferably within pharma or bio industry.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/construction field (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical preferred) or equivalent experience.
