Job Description
The Intercompany Accounting Analyst will manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. This role ensures accurate recording, timely settlement, and compliance with corporate and local accounting standards, while collaborating with regional and global finance teams to maintain integrity in intercompany processes.
Responsabilities
•Record and reconcile intercompany charges, allocations, and settlements. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with transfer pricing policies.
•Prepare intercompany journal entries and reconciliations. Resolve discrepancies between entities and ensure timely elimination entries for consolidation.
•Coordinate with regional finance teams, tax, and treasury to ensure accurate settlements. Communicate effectively with counterparts in Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico to resolve issues.
•Provide intercompany reports for management review. Analyze trends and variances in intercompany balances
•Facilitate the 'Record to Report' process, providing detailed financial data and valuable input to the management reporting.
•Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, providing all necessary general ledger data, account analysis, and financial reports.
•Adhere to a tight control environment which abides by the company's previously defined internal control framework
•Develop and implement comprehensive and up-to-date intercompany accounting procedures that improve accuracy, efficiency and that comply with company policies and GAAP.
•Develop ad-hoc reports and conduct special projects, such as financial data analysis, process improvements, policy reviews, etc., in an effort to improve the overall cost accounting function.

Competencies
•Highly detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines
•Strong analytical and communication skills.
•Knowledge accounting systems is required
•Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an excellent Excel working knowledge
•Knowledge of LATAM tax and compliance requirements is a plus
Requirements
•BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field
•Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
•3 - 5+ years of relevant experience
•Fluency in English required
