The primary role of the Senior Analyst, is to ensure internal control testing is effectively and efficiently conducted based on the requirements of the 2nd line functions (e.g., Compliance, Risk, AML, etc.).

Job Description
The primary role of the Senior Analyst, is to ensure internal control testing is effectively and efficiently conducted based on the requirements of the 2nd line functions (e.g., Compliance, Risk, AML, etc.).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure internal control testing is effectively and efficiently conducted based on the requirements of the 2nd line functions.
- Lead and assist in the development of Design and Operating effectiveness of testing programs.
- Understand and apply sampling methodology in accordance with company's sampling guidelines.
- Conduct ongoing testing of key controls/requirements for all TDS Businesses.
- Analyze, report, and track exceptions to resolution.
- Lead and assist with assessing Key Risk Indicators to identify opportunities to enhance the program.
- Lead and assist TDS Businesses in developing action/remediation plans to address internal control gaps and root cause themes.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and realize efficiencies in testing.
- Work with business stakeholders to develop or enhance key controls and remediate documentation/process gaps.
- Assist with ad-hoc initiatives and strategies from a risk and control perspective.
- Contribute to and promote positive working relationships through effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience (Risk, Audit, Compliance preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- University education.
- Risk and Control Self-Assessment experience.
- Advanced knowledge of governance, risk and control procedures, strategies, and tactics.
- Prior audit experience.
- Quality control testing experience.
- MS Excel (formulas).
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently.
- Ability to analyze, research, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Operational experience – derivative operations experience.
- Experience working in a wholesale operation environment.
- Ability to deal with traders and front office staff.
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
- Wholesale operations experience.
- Aris experience (tool for process maps).
- Knowledge of current and emerging trends.
- Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and reporting techniques.
- Understanding of TDS business operations and processes.
- Experience with PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
