Position Title: Operations Specialist
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Monday – Friday – 9 AM – 5 PM
Location: Remote
Role Summary:

Role Summary:
- This role supports critical, time-sensitive post-trade activities across equity finance products, including international securities lending, trade settlements, collateral management, market-to-market processing, and cash settlements, ensuring accuracy and effective risk control.
- The individual will join a small, collaborative team supporting global functions, working closely with another team member to maintain continuity and efficiency across international operations.
- This opportunity offers the chance to join a globally recognized institution (bank) while gaining direct exposure to international markets across North America, Europe, and Asia.

- Manage daily settlement lifecycle for equity finance trades (borrows/loans, returns, recalls, buy-ins)
- Perform collateral processing, mark-to-market activities, and exposure monitoring
- Execute daily reconciliations across internal systems and depositories (e.g., DTC/CDS)
- Investigate and resolve breaks, failures, and counterparty exceptions
- Support end-of-day reporting and ensure adherence to control and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with Front Office, Risk, and Control partners to manage operational risk
- 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets Operations (Equity Finance / Securities Lending preferred)
- Strong understanding of settlement processes, collateral management, and reconciliations
- Experience with systems such as G1, iLOAN, or similar post-trade platforms
- Proven ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to go on board quickly and operate with minimal supervision
- Availability to support knowledge transfer in June ahead of role coverage in early July.
