Job Description

Job Title: Intake Triage Manager
Duration: 6 months (Possibility of Extension)
Working hours: 9 am-5 pm
Working Location: Toronto, ON M5B 2L7 (Hybrid, 2 days in office)
 
Role Mandate:
  • This role sits within the Commercial Banking Project Management Office supporting Client’s Commercial Banking.
  • They will lead the intake triage management of new initiatives, ensuring requests are assessed and routed efficiently across cross-functional teams.
  • Success will be measured by the effectiveness, consistency, and throughput of the triage process, as well as the quality of intake outputs and stakeholder alignment.
  • This is a great opportunity offering broad exposure across Commercial Banking (Lending and TPS) and the chance to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • The role provides valuable visibility into senior leadership decision-making and exposure to building and scaling a new integrated initiatives intake function, gaining hands-on experience with different tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day intake, ensuring requests meet quality and completeness standards
  • Facilitate triage and support prioritization based on value, urgency, complexity, and dependencies
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment
  • Define high-level scope, identify risks, and ensure readiness for delivery
  • Maintain intake pipeline, track status, and support reporting
  • Follow and improve intake processes, tools, and governance practices
  • Other responsibilities might become required after the process is operationalized
Key Deliverables:
  • Intake submissions and request summaries
  • Triage logs and prioritization inputs
  • Stakeholder communications and updates
  • Intake pipeline tracking and reporting
Must Haves:
  • 4–7 years of experience in project management, business analysis, intake, and/or demand management
  • Experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders, governance, or prioritization forums
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to structure ambiguous requests into clear inputs
  • Effective stakeholder communication
  • Attention to detail and process discipline
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, PowerApps, intake systems, Excel or reporting tools
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments
  • Exposure to waterfall and agile delivery environments
  • PMP, SM, or BA certification
