Job Title: Commercial Operations Analyst (SQL & Business Intelligence)
Location: Remote (PST)
Duration: 9-Month (Strong potential for extension and full-time conversion)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Commercial Operations Analyst / Developer to support business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, and application development initiatives. This role combines strong SQL-based data analysis, dashboard development, and business reporting with the ability to design, develop, and support scalable technical solutions that drive business performance.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in SQL, data visualization, and business analytics, along with experience working in Agile environments and supporting large-scale technology solutions from design through deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical and analytical solutions.
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support applications, reporting solutions, and analytical tools.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from relational databases, including AWS Redshift.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions using Tableau or Power BI.
- Support marketing, sales, and commercial operations teams through data-driven insights and performance reporting.
- Generate technical specifications for software enhancements, reporting solutions, and analytical models.
- Participate in modeling, simulation, forecasting, and business analysis efforts.
- Ensure quality, security, and compliance standards are maintained across supported solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver scalable solutions.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Create executive-level presentations and communicate findings to business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.
- 5–7 years of professional experience in software development, business intelligence, data analytics, or related technical roles.
- Strong SQL experience, including complex joins, CTEs, aggregations, and large dataset analysis.
- Experience with Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale solutions from end-to-end.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Redshift experience.
- Python programming experience.
- GitHub or source control experience.
- Experience supporting sales, marketing, commercial operations, or business intelligence functions.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
