The Data Analyst will document enterprise databases by creating a comprehensive data dictionary. The role focuses on documenting existing data structures, not data modeling or design.
Review databases and document:
o Tables
o Columns
o Field definitions
• Create clear descriptions of what each data element represents.
• Identify basic upstream and downstream data usage where applicable.
• Support improved data transparency and understanding across teams.
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to validate documentation.
Top Skills:
Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Experience creating data dictionaries or technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
