Role: Senior Data Governance Engineer - Informatica Specialist
Location: Newark, NJ – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12+ Months
 
About Role:
Senior Data Governance Engineer consultant with expertise in Informatica Data Governance platforms. This role focuses on implementing and managing enterprise data governance solutions with hands-on experience in cataloging, curation, lineage, and marketplace capabilities.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Informatica Data Governance solutions.
• Configure and maintain data cataloguing and lineage tracking.
• Leverage and build Informatica Data Products in Marketplace.
• Support integration with third-party data quality and governance platforms.
• Develop and deploy data pipelines in cloud environments.
• Build AI agents that leverage governed data assets

 
Required:

• Informatica Data Governance: 5+ years hands-on experience with Data Catalogue, Data Lineage, Marketplace, and Data Quality.
• Data Governance: Understanding of data governance best practices.
• AWS Data Pipelines: Experience developing and deploying data pipelines in cloud.
• Communication: Strong documentation and communication skills

AI & Automation:

• Utilizing AI tools for engineering productivity (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot).
• Understanding of how to integrate AI with governed data.

 
Preferred:
AI & Automation:

• Experience building AI agents and intelligent automation solutions
• Denodo: Experience with data virtualization platform
• Microsoft Fabric: Experience with Fabric and PowerBI components
• Ataccama: Experience with Data Quality, MDM, and RDM.
