Position Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Design Manager to support the Factory 1 initiative. This role will work closely with the Principal TPM and be responsible for coordinating design activities across engineering firms, developers, construction teams, and internal stakeholders. The position is intended to support the Factory 1 team during its ramp-up phase over the next six months.

- Support the Principal TPM in managing design activities and deliverables
- Coordinate among engineering firms, developers, construction teams, and internal stakeholders
- Track design schedules, timelines, and project milestones
- Review design packages and submissions
- Establish and maintain design standards
- Track design revisions and changes
- Perform QA/QC reviews on design deliverables
- Identify coordination issues across multiple disciplines
- Maintain design change logs and assess downstream impacts
- Ensure alignment between engineering partners and internal teams
Day-to-Day Activities
- Manage design deliverables and schedules
- Review and monitor engineering documentation
- Coordinate communication between multiple teams
- Track project progress and milestones
- Support design and construction planning activities
Required Skills (Top Priority)
1. Design Management Experience
- 10+ years of stable professional experience
- Experience managing design activities in:
- Construction projects
- Industrial facility projects
- Ability to coordinate between:
- Engineering firms
- Developers
- Internal business stakeholders
- Strong experience with:
- Project scheduling
- Design package reviews
- QA/QC processes
- Design standards
- Change management tracking
- Cross-functional coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- Robotics construction experience
- Experience with large organizations such as:
- Meta
- Microsoft
- Supply chain or robotics facility experience
- Experience in fast-paced environments
