Job Description

Job Title: Technical Program Manager III
Location: Remote (US – West Coast preferred)
Duration: 7+ Months (Possibility of extension)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex, cross-functional programs within the Data Engineering team supporting eDiscovery and Information Governance. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and legal, driving execution for critical initiatives related to litigation, regulatory, and internal investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define program scope, goals, success metrics, and execution plans
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Legal, Data, etc.)
  • Manage program roadmaps, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies
  • Track progress, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate program status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • Build and improve processes for program intake, tracking, and execution
  • Support and influence technical design discussions and system architecture quality
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Partner with Data Engineers and Attorneys to deliver data pipelines for legal use cases
  • Manage multiple workstreams across data engineering and governance initiatives
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and handle competing priorities
  • Drive execution in high-pressure, fast-moving environments
  • Provide clear documentation and executive-level communication
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
  • 5–7 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional (XFN) programs
  • Experience working with Data Engineering teams and data-related projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with program tracking, sprint planning, and stakeholder management
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
  • Experience in eDiscovery, legal, compliance, privacy, or regulated environments
  • Experience working in cross-disciplinary or non-traditional environments (e.g., startups)
  • Exposure to AI tools or automation to improve workflows.
