Title: Systems Engineer III Location: Seattle, WA - Onsite Duration: 7 months with possiblity of extension
Top 3 Must have skills:
In depth knowledge of & experience developing controls systems including developing PLC and HMI applications and integrating components like drives, barcode readers, and remote sensors.
Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131-3 languages.
Understanding of basic network troubleshooting including industrial networks like Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Profibus/Profinet, etc.
Nice to have skills: 1. Knowledge of C, C++ or Java. 2. Understanding of AWS technologies (aws.amazon.com). 3. Experience deploying or managing machines in large-scale, geographically diverse environments.
Degree and certifications required: Bachelors in engineering Years of experience: 5-7 years
Job responsibilities: The successful engineer in this role will:
Understand how complex robotics workcells operate, including an understanding of servo drives, industrial networks, safety systems, and integration with host systems.
Have experience developing and deploying robotics workcells, including commissioning best practices, and troubleshooting methodologies for complex integrated systems.
Own the development of systems and features to improve system throughput, availability, quality, and improve deployment speed and efficacy.
Own documentation of system for immediate team as well as partner commissioning and support teams.
Have experience developing and evaluating metrics to judge performance of machines and systems.
Have experience with software development for controls systems.
