Job Description

Title: Senior Marketing Manager 
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension/FTE)
Hours of Operation: 9-5

Job Decsription:

Provides advice and supports the marketing objectives of a business/group. Maintains an understanding of the business/group to produce effective and integrated marketing solutions. Creates, develops, and executes marketing plans that are consistent with brand standards and align to strategic objectives. Develops, recommends, and executes marketing plans for initiatives to include customer marketing and communications, integrated sales, promotion/incentive, acquisition/retention. Manages cross-functional relationships across business groups and external partners to leverage opportunities and services. Acts as a liaison business stakeholders and marketing functions to provide input into the central marketing process and ensure alignment.
 

  • Manage marketing campaigns end-to-end, from strategic planning to execution.
  • Acts as the day-to-day contact for vendors; supports the implementation, maintenance, and sustainment of vendor solutions.
  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.
  • Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.
  • Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy.
  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitors and tracks performance regularly and addresses any issues.
  • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Coordinates budgets and reporting to track actual results vs budget.
  • Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.
  • Monitors progress against milestones, recommends and implements adjustments as necessary to meet business objectives.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within bank; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying our Risk Management Framework in the execution of your role, in line with our Risk Culture and within our approved Risk Appetite, making sound and risk informed decisions that align to business strategy, protect assets, and adhere to applicable policy documents (Frameworks, Policies, Standards, Procedures and Supporting documents), laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Typically, between 5 - 7 years of relevant asset management experience and marketing ETFs.
  • Degree/diploma in business, marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Advanced experience in developing marketing plans.
  • Media agency experience an asset.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
