Overview: Client is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customer data and systems while building scalable production-grade integrations, APIs, and ETL pipelines. This role sits at the intersection of customer engineering, backend development, and platform infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner directly with customers on onboarding, integrations, and technical implementation
Build and maintain ETL/data pipelines across APIs, databases, events, and SaaS platforms
Develop Python-based backend services, APIs, workers, and orchestration systems
Troubleshoot and optimize distributed systems, integrations, and platform performance
Translate customer-specific implementations into reusable product capabilities
Requirements:
5+ years of backend/software engineering experience
Strong Python development experience
Experience building APIs, ETL pipelines, and integrations
Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth, async processing, and distributed systems
Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, Segment, Gong, etc.
AI/ML pipeline or analytics platform experience
Experience working with scalable data infrastructure
