Job Description

Title: Sr Program Manager, APS Integrated Delivery (PMO)
Location: Mettawa, IL
Work arrangement: Hybrid – Mon/Fri remote, Tues/Wed/Thurs onsite
Duration: 6+ months

Description:

The Sr. Program Manager for Integrated Delivery reports within the Patient Services Organization. This role will report to the Associate Director, Immunology. This role will support a critical priority project within Patient Services. Overview of Sr. Program Manager and Integrated Delivery Team:
• Integrated Delivery is APS's execution hub for key initiatives/cross functional priorities— making programs run reliably, reducing risk, and keeping every initiative tied directly to APS strategy. We don't lead everything
• We bridge strategy to execution. Our Strategic/Integration Program Managers partner with Strategy Directors to connect program objectives to the right teams, resources, and processes — so strategy doesn't stall at the planning stage.
• We get ahead of problems. Proactive bottleneck identification, structured communication, and early mitigation are built into how we operate — not an afterthought.
• We are embedded in your business. PMs bring deep therapeutic area and patient support expertise, guiding programs toward measurable value and better patient outcomes — not just on-time delivery.
• We bring a proven framework with us. Governance, standardized methodologies, timeline ownership, reporting, and tools come pre-built — your team executes, we handle the coordination infrastructure.
• We ensure nothing runs in isolation. Every project is prioritized and evaluated against APS strategic objectives and ALIGN — so your work is always visible and defensible at the portfolio level.

Major Responsibilities:

Program Management
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, organizational savvy, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals, timelines, and accountability in a complex matrixed environment. Will need to build and sustain productive working relationships with BTS, APEX, and Patient Services Strategy Leadership by leading with influence rather than authority
• Project Execution, Accountability & Resilience: Manages end-to-end delivery of the performance measurement plan from design through deployment with a high degree of ownership and follow-through; skilled at setting clear expectations, navigating ambiguity, and diplomatically but firmly re-engaging partners who are off-track — while maintaining composure under pressure and proactively communicating status, risks, and mitigation plans to the Associate Director of Program Management
• KPI Development & Performance Framework Design: Partners across functions to establish clear ownership of performance targets and drives shared accountability for outcomes — ensuring all parties understand their role in delivering results against the plan
• Reporting & Dashboard Development (as needed): Collaborates with APEX and BTS to scope, develop, and deploy reporting dashboards

Qualifications:
• Position requires bachelor’s degree and relevant experience. MBA, Project Management Professional certification and work experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Senior PM: 5-7+ years of program management and program governance experience
• This role requires strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, program management capabilities, financial management capabilities and an in-depth understanding of the patient services and pharmaceutical business.
• The position requires human relations and administrative skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-leaders and leadership in Commercial, Business Technology Services, Legal, Office of Ethics and Compliance, Manufacturing Operations, Global Medical Affairs, Promotions, Brand teams, and Global Patient Services.
• Leading without Authority skills required.
• Conflict resolution skills including persuasive management techniques required.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills required. Ability to communicate concepts and problems in terms that are understandable to all levels of the organization, including C-Suite.
• Proven ability to drive outstanding team performance and engagement motivating, energizing and inspiring team members.
