Job Description
Title: IT Solutions Developer
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Duration: 06 months assignment
Description:
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
How much time is being spent in meetings – 1-2 hours per day average
Who are they interacting with (internal/external) – internal and external
Will the contractor have access to any customer data? Yes
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:
1.) 5+ years of code development and SDLC experience
2.) Front end – html, CSS and JavaScript
3.) Backend – VBA
4.) Database – SQL server, optimizing queries and stored procedures
5.) MS Access and MS Excel – Macros
6.) API methods
SOFT SKILLS:
1.) Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
2.) Strong demo/presentation skills (describing functionality of end product)
NICE-TO-HAVE:
1.) Agile experience (Jira, Confluence)
2.) Code review experience
3.) Banking or financial institution experience
4.) Jira, Confluence
CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:
Degree/Level of Education: Degree or Diploma is required
Certifications Required: Lean Six Sigma is an asset
Years of Overall Experience: 8+ years of experience
How will performance be measured: Hitting deliverables, SLA’s
