Job Description
Job Title: Program Manager- V
Duration: 12 months (possibility of conversion)
Work Schedule: 2 days per week (Hybrid)
Location: Toronto
Description:
This will support a high visibility compensation initiative, driving cross functional alignment, project tracking, requirements gathering, and delivery excellence. The ideal candidate brings strong consulting discipline, polished communication, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast moving, ambiguous environment.
You will partner closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, engineering, and compensation SMEs to ensure alignment on requirements, timelines, dependencies, and risks. This role requires proactive ownership, meeting leadership, and the ability to navigate challenges as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Leadership
Build, own, and maintain the end to end project plan, ensuring tasks, milestones, and dependencies are clearly tracked.
Lead recurring project meetings: prepare agendas, drive discussions, assign action items, and follow through on deliverables.
Identify, escalate, and proactively resolve issues by coordinating with the appropriate teams.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with cross?functional business units, including HR, Engineering, Compensation, and Operations.
Translate complex information into clear communications for stakeholders at all levels.
Build strong relationships across teams to support collaboration and seamless execution.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
Facilitate discussions to collect business and technical requirements.
Document and maintain project artifacts (requirements, process flows, status reports, decision logs).
Execution Excellence
Track and report progress against the plan; flag risks early and drive mitigation.
Support testing cycles, readiness activities, and change management tasks as needed.
Ensure alignment with compensation processes and operational timelines
Must have skills:
-Consulting experience from big 4 or major consulting firms
-Project Management
-Communication
-Presentation
-Requirements gathering
-Basic understanding of E2E compensation process
-3-8 years of experience
Teachable skills:
-Compensation structure
-E2E system
