Position: Test Engineer
Location: San Deigo, CA (8AM -5PM)
Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

• Execute mechanical and measurement tests driven and defined by test engineers across product development and design verification.
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of test equipment and fixtures, including proper configuration, operation, and limitations.
• Independently troubleshoot test setups, equipment issues, and execution challenges to ensure reliable and repeatable results.
• Provide hands?on input to test method improvement by identifying equipment limitations, setup inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve robustness and repeatability.
• Collect, organize, and communicate high?quality test data and execution learnings to engineers to support informed engineering decisions.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands on experience with mechanical or measurement test equipment and fixtures, including independent troubleshooting
• Proficiency with CAD software to review, modify, or create test fixtures and setups
• Ability to execute engineer?defined test methods and document results accurately in a development or verification environment

Preferred Skills (nice to have)

• Ability to develop test methods end to end, including defining objectives, designing setups, selecting equipment, executing tests, and refining methods based on results
• Experience improving test robustness, repeatability, and efficiency through iterative method refinement
• Strong technical judgment to translate hands on testing experience into well documented, engineer ready test methods
