About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to support Client’s Industrial Robotics team in developing rapid prototype concepts. This role will work closely with mechanical engineers and technicians to design, build, and iterate on new mechanical assemblies, particularly for electronics-related applications.

About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to support Client’s Industrial Robotics team in developing rapid prototype concepts. This role will work closely with mechanical engineers and technicians to design, build, and iterate on new mechanical assemblies, particularly for electronics-related applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using MCAD tools
- Create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings
- Build and test rapid prototypes and production tooling
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on new product development
- Support design iteration cycles for prototype validation and improvement
- Maintain documentation and workflows using engineering/project tools
Required Qualifications (Top Must-Have Skills)
- Strong experience with MCAD software (3D modeling & 2D drafting)
- Hands-on experience in prototyping mechanical assemblies, especially for electronics
- Experience with rapid prototyping and tooling (prototype & production)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience with SolidWorks and PLM systems
- Familiarity with Agile/project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Background as a Lab Technician or Engineering Technician
- Previous Amazon experience (a plus)
Experience & Education
- Experience: 4–5 years
- Education: Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
