Overview
Our clients communications team tells inspiring and authentic stories to internal and external audiences around the globe. We’re currently in search of a Corporate Communications Specialist to support this important work.
As a part of the Corporate Communications team, you will bring expertise, energy, and creativity to help identify and share company’s stories with customers, external influencers, employees, and other audiences. You work will help shape and protect company’s reputation.
We’re looking for someone with a strong sense of proactivity and accountability—as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail—to help support and keep our team humming. Your work will span communications program management, research, writing, media outreach, coverage tracking, and more.
Past experience working in public relations or another communications field is required. Agency experience preferred. You will report to company’s Corporate Communications Senior Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members and company stakeholders to identify, shape and draft news announcements, customer stories, and thought leadership content for company newsroom, ADSK News
  • Co-manage ADSK News editorial calendar, content review/staging/publication process, and analytics using tools like Airtable, WordPress, and Snowflake
  • Support optimization of newsroom content for AI & LLMs, help track and analyze performance of content
  • Support Autodesk’s company awards program. Research, develop, and submit applications, as well as lead promotion plans for earned recognitions
  • Support Corporate and Brand Communications with media pitching; Build media lists, identify and conduct outreach, prepare for and staff interviews with Autodesk spokespeople
  • Support comms plans for customer segment storytelling; participate in creative brainstorming and project manage program elements
  • Leverage tools such as Signal AI to lead coverage tracking for Corporate Comms team and assist in amplifying earned media to internal audiences
  • Manage the PR team inbox, provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external inquiries
  • Play a supporting role in executing media and analyst relations programs for Autodesk-owned events like our annual user conference, Autodesk University
  • Research and monitor trends, competitor news, and comms industry developments; flag opportunities to the team
  • Maintain corporate materials—company fact sheet, leadership profiles, etc.
  • Support team on high-priority communications projects related to crisis responses, mergers and acquisitions, etc.
  • Help team prepare for weekly all-hands meeting, consolidate and submit weekly highlights we want to share
  • Support the team in creating a range of comms materials–media lists, briefing books, etc.

Skills
  • Strong ability to work proactively and with accountability, meeting deadlines while ensuring high quality deliverables
  • Understanding of Autodesk’s business, experience with global technology companies, and/or familiarity with the industries Autodesk serves (architecture, engineering, construction, design, manufacturing, and media and entertainment)
  • Media relations experience—identifying and securing opportunities, building relationships, preparing spokespeople and staffing interviews
  • Ability to build and manage internal relationships within cross-functional teams and with company stakeholders of all levels
  • Compelling storyteller with ability to distill complex content into concise and engaging communications
  • Experience contributing to communications strategies, plans, programs, and events
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail; ability to write with speed and accuracy
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills; ability to work with flexibility, multitask, and prioritize

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a public relations or other communications role
  • Four-year college degree (BS or BA) in English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing; or equivalent work experience
  • Occasional travel may be required (?10%)
